Glanbia Cheese, Europe's leading mozzarella producer continues to invest in its cutting edge production facilities and technology.
Recently, the latest stage in the Company's ongoing investment plan has been unveiled with a £1.6m investment in new shredders and bespoke packing equipment to improve and future proof Llangefni's already world class shredding and packing facility.
The major benefits are:
- Increasing shredding/packing capacity by 25%
- New and improved machinery to both improve dice/shred capability.
- Investment in state of the art bagging & sealing equipment to ensure packaging integrity now, and into the future
Commenting on the successful commissioning of the investment Chief Executive Paul Vernon commented, "This is the latest iteration of our on-going investment plans to continually re-invest and upgrade, to enable us to grasp new opportunities and deliver strong growth''.
