I joined the business in 1994 as an assistant accountant. I've also had roles as a Warehouse and Logistics Manager before becoming Purchase Manager in 1999. In my role I'm responsible for £20m of purchases for everything from packaging to ingredients to supplying our labs.

I've seen a lot of changes in my time here. I remember in 1994 we were excited to report 300 tonnes of cheese produced each week - today the same site produces more than 700 tonnes per week. I've also seen changes in myself, and thanks to the encouragement I get, I was able to achieve full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing.
