NPD Technologist

I started my career in the food industry as a Trainee Dairy Technician within the yogurt and desserts sector. Shortly after completing a degree in Dairy Technology I was fortunate to join the team at Llangefni.

I have a very varied role split between the factory, supporting with trials for sample requests based on new or improved recipes and the launch of new customer orders. Another aspect of the role involves researching different global markets, new product releases and identifying new food trends. The role allows me to be very creative in applying ideas generated within the team to design innovative pizza concepts. I really enjoy customers visits as this gives us the opportunity to showcase our concepts and the demonstrate the versatility of our product which could then be emulated in stores.
