£34,000 per annum plus excellent benefits

Permanent, Full Time,

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

The role is based within our Llangefni plant

 

About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Human Resources team for a Training and Human Resources Officer. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager you will:

  • Day to day management of the Company e-learning platform
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training making use of surveys, questionnaires, interviews and by observation and make recommendations for future courses or to amend existing ones
  • Regularly monitor the outcome of training
  • Drive the timely completion of competency assessments
  • Ensure all training is recorded appropriately and that the training matrix is up-to-date ensuring that it captures and displays the competency of each operator and identifies their training needs
  • Review and plan ahead for all regulatory training to ensure compliance with legislation and the requirements of our customers
  • Support all customer and statutory audits across the site
  • Develop and deliver in-house training courses particularly in relation to HR procedures and processes
  • To undertake any other duties/projects as delegated by the HR Manager.
  • To provide cover for the HR Manager, assuming certain responsibilities in their absence to ensure continuity of service to Departments.

About You:

The successful applicant will ideally have:

 

  • 3rd level education or similar
  • Training/L&D related qualification
  • IT proficient and competent in use of Microsoft Word, powerpoint and Excel Spreadsheets
  • Experience in designing and delivering of training courses
  • Specialist knowledge of Training requirements within a food manufacturing environment. Including statutory and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work to deadlines and using own initiative
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Proactive with strong organisation and planning skills
