Glanbia Cheese Bursary & graduate Programme– Loughry College & Colleg Menai in Bangor

Heather Broughton, Senior HR Manager with Glanbia Cheese today confirmed that Glanbia Cheese are delighted to announce the first winner of its new Bursary programme is Anna-Mae Graham. As well as a Bursary of £4,000 over three years, Anna-Mae will join Glanbia Cheese for a 12-month paid placement starting in June. 

This Bursary and placement is offered each year to a student studying Food Technology from Loughry College, with entry via an essay followed by an interview with Glanbia Cheese Director of Technical Services and the Senior HR Manager.

Work placements have also been undertaken by Lyndsay-Ann Coulter and Rory Houston both students at Loughry College with their final year's fees paid by the Glanbia Cheese as part of the student programme.

In addition, Glanbia Cheese has initiated a Graduate programme, with Loughry College in Northern Ireland and Colleg Menai in Bangor.  and Heather was delighted to confirm Gemma Donaldson and Sian Russell as our two first graduate trainees.  Gemma is based on our site in Northern Ireland and Sian in Llangefni, Anglesey.
