Glanbia Cheese launches melt-restricted mozzarella

Glanbia Cheese has recently launched a new line of melt-restricted mozzarella that is designed to work specifically in microwave applications.  Pete Brain, Glanbia's Director of QA and NPD and his team created this solution in response to a growing consumer demand for convenience products. 

According to Pete, standard mozzarella tends to melt away when microwaved.  "Using proprietary technology, we were able to develop a mozzarella that remains visible and delicious after being heated in a microwave, leaving consumers more satisfied with their eating experience."
