Glanbia Cheese is a main supporter of the 2012 National Ayrshire Young Breeders Gathering. This April, South Wales Ayrshire Breeders Club is hosting the NAYBG. Delegates from around the UK aged 10 through 26 will descend on South Wales from April 10th- 13th to view the Ayrshire herds and participate in numerous competitions. The event is designed to improve the knowledge of the Ayrshire young breeders about cattle, farming practices, and the dairy industry as a whole.

 Ayrshire cattle are a highly desired breed known for the premium quality milk, ability to convert grass into milk, and hardiness.
