On Thursday 31^st January the Glanbia Cheese team attended the Papa John’s conference at the NEC in Birmingham. The day was informative and gave a really use insight into the activity and focus of the Papa John’s business.

Papa John’s now have 415 stores in the UK with plans for more in 2019. They’re a long standing customer of Glanbia Cheese both for IQF mozzarella and string cheese for stuffed crust pizzas.

The conference was followed by an Awards Evening  - at which we were nominated alongside a creative design agency and a food distributor for ‘Supplier of the Year’ 2018. Unfortunately, we didn’t land the top prize this year – having won this award in 2017 – but it was great to be nominated again from all food and non-food suppliers to the Papa John’s business for a 2^nd year.
